Maytoni Memory MOD177FL-01B floor lamp, black, E14, 139 cm

Name: Maytoni Memory MOD177FL-01B floor lamp, black, E14, 139 cm
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Memory MOD177FL-01B is a black floor lamp with a slender metal stem and a rounded natural marble base. Its clear outer glass shade surrounds an inner cover made from translucent white glass. This keeps the outer silhouette visible while placing an additional layer of glass between the bulb and the viewer.Allow for the shade as well as the baseThe lamp stands 139 cm high, with an outer shade measuring 30 cm in diameter. The manufacturer's drawing gives the base diameter as 18 cm. Consider these measurements separately: the small footprint does not mean the upper part will fit into an equally narrow gap. Beside a sofa or bed, compare the shade width with the space next to the backrest or headboard. Its floor-standing form can provide supplementary light in a living room, bedroom or at the edge of a dining area. In a hotel room or restaurant seating area, choose a position outside walking routes. The cable and switch remain close to the floor, so account for the socket location and cable route. The stated height is a construction dimension, not a claim that the height is adjustable. One E14 socket, controlled at the cableThe fitting accepts one E14 bulb rated up to 40 W. This is the permitted bulb wattage, not a brightness figure or the consumption of every bulb you might select. Light colour and luminous output depend on the chosen source. The white inner glass changes the visible presentation of the light compared with a completely exposed bulb.An in-line switch turns the lamp on and off. Maytoni lists this fitting as non-dimmable, so a replaceable bulb should not be taken as evidence of brightness control. The lamp operates at 220–240 V.Black metal, layered glass and natural stoneThe thin stem, two glass surfaces and hemispherical base create a modern, modernist composition without elaborate ornament. Natural marble markings can differ between individual lamps. MOD177FL-01B identifies the black version; white and gold fittings in some Memory family photographs are separate variants rather than alternative finishes supplied with this article.Show more
