Mantra IGUAZU 6558 outdoor wall light, dark grey, 1×GX53

Name: Mantra IGUAZU 6558 outdoor wall light, dark grey, 1×GX53
Brand: Mantra

Mantra IGUAZU 6558 is an outdoor wall light with a round, rotating head held inside an open U-shaped bracket. A rectangular backplate and dark grey RAL 7043 finish give the fitting a clearly geometric outline. Designed by José Ignacio Ballester, it combines aluminium with glass.Change the head position, not the wiring pointThe moving head lets you alter the orientation of the illuminated face relative to the wall. This matters when the electrical outlet is already fixed but you want to adapt the light direction to part of a facade or the area beside a terrace. The open bracket remains part of the visible design when the head is tilted. There is one GX53 socket for a separately purchased LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. The bulb is not included. Brightness and light colour therefore depend on your choice of bulb rather than the dark finish of the housing. Mantra specifies this fitting as non-dimmable, so it should not be planned as part of a dimmer-controlled lighting installation.Allow for the projection from the wallIGUAZU measures 18 cm high, 10 cm wide and 17.6 cm deep. The depth describes how far the fitting projects from its mounting surface. Compare that dimension with the available clearance beside doors, shutters or a passage before choosing its position. A narrow backplate does not mean that the complete light sits flat against the facade.Outdoor placement and geometric stylingThe manufacturer's outdoor designation and IP54 rating support use on facades, balconies and terraces. This protection concerns dust and splashing water, not immersion. The fitting operates on 100–240 V at 50/60 Hz and belongs to protection class I, requiring a protective earth connection. The installation instructions recommend a round three-core cable to maintain the IP rating. The combination of a rectangle, a circle and an open bracket suits modern and minimalist exterior schemes. When coordinating the 6558 version with other facade details, use RAL 7043 as the finish reference rather than treating this dark grey light as black.Show more
