LUMINES SONO plaster-in LED profile, silver anodised, 2.02 m

Name: LUMINES SONO plaster-in LED profile, silver anodised, 2.02 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES SONO is an aluminium LED profile designed for recessed, plaster-in installation in walls or ceilings. Variant 10-1144-20 has a silver anodised finish and a length of 2020 mm. Its angled channel directs light towards a selected surface rather than straight out from the installation plane.Allow for the actual profile dimensionsThis section measures 2.02 m, not exactly 2 m. Use the 2020 mm figure when comparing it with the intended wall or ceiling run. The cross-section drawing specifies an overall width of 65 mm and a height of 24.9 mm. That width includes the side flanges incorporated into the plastered surface.SONO is a recessed construction component, not a surface-mounted strip housing for a finished wall. Plan the channel position and opening direction together with the surrounding construction. This matters where the lighting is intended to emphasise one side of a wall or a particular part of the ceiling.Choosing the strip and system componentsThe manufacturer specifies LED strips up to 12 mm wide and compatible BASIC covers. The internal 13.2 mm measurement shown in the drawing is not the permitted strip width. Select the strip against the 12 mm limit and check that the remaining components belong to the SONO system. The assembly diagram shows the profile working with an LED strip, a cover and end caps with a hole. The power supply sits outside the profile, so its location needs to be included in the overall design. The aluminium section itself does not determine colour temperature, brightness or control options: those depend on the selected strip and associated components.Directional accent lightingThe angled opening and recessed cover support accent lighting of walls and ceilings. SONO can be incorporated into a living room, bedroom, kitchen or circulation space where the design calls for highlighting a surface. Its concealed construction suits modern and minimalist schemes that place the emphasis on a line of light rather than a visible decorative light fitting.Show more
