LUMINES profile type AGO silver anodized 3 m

Name: LUMINES profile type AGO silver anodized 3 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES AGO is an aluminium corner profile for LED strip, here in the silver anodised finish and 3 m long. The cross-section is triangular: two 19.5 mm legs sit against the two surfaces of the corner, and between them runs a 12 mm wide face set at 45°. Where it is mounted The manufacturer intends it for surface mounting — in furniture and in interior trim — and for suspension. Five fixing methods are named: screws, double-sided tape, a suspension kit, a hinge and a mounting bracket. The 45° angle decides what the profile is for: light leaves at a slant rather than straight down or straight ahead. That puts it in a corner — where a cabinet meets the wall, or the wall meets a worktop — lighting the surface below it without shining into anyone's eyes. What has to be bought with it This catalogue number is the extrusion on its own. The LED strip, the cover, the end caps and the driver are all bought separately. The channel takes strip up to 12 mm wide — the first figure to check on the strip's data sheet, because anything wider will not go in. AGO is designed around the COMPACT polycarbonate cover in three finishes: transparent, milky and frosted; in the 3 m length they are 11-3500-30, 11-3501-30 and 11-3502-30. End caps come in silver aluminium — 12-1995-10 with a cable hole and 12-1995-11 without — or in ABS in five colours. The driver goes outside the profile; there is no room for it inside. Length and joining This number is a 3 m length; the same profile is also made in 1 m and 2.02 m, and to order up to 6 m. The manufacturer does not provide for butt-joining lengths, so a longer run is built from separate pieces with a visible gap, or from one longer piece ordered specially.Show more
