Name: Norlys Lofoten 1946CS garden bollard, rust colour, 105 cm, E27
Brand: NORLYS

Norlys Lofoten 1946CS is a garden bollard with a rectangular glazed lantern on a slender post. Its powder-coated steel body has a rust-coloured CS finish, described by the manufacturer as a corten steel colour.Height and space around the fittingThe complete fitting stands 105 cm high, and its square head is 19 cm wide and deep. Compare these dimensions with the space beside a terrace or along a garden path before choosing the position. Clear glass leaves the bulb visible, so its shape forms part of the lantern’s appearance. The base measures 15.3 × 15.3 cm, which needs to be allowed for when preparing the fixing position. The manufacturer lists the separate 206GA0010 ground anchor for this model. Decide on the foundation arrangement and cable route before laying the surrounding surface.A bulb selected separatelyThe fitting has one E27 socket for an LED bulb rated at a maximum of 11 W. No light source is included, so brightness and colour temperature are selected when choosing the bulb. This bollard therefore has no fixed factory-specified light output or light colour. The instructions specify a bulb diameter of 55–60 mm and a height of up to 110 mm. Compare these limits with the chosen bulb’s dimensions to check that it fits beneath the cover. Norlys classifies the fitting as non-dimmable.A glazed lantern for outdoorsLight passes through the clear safety glass surrounding the bulb, while a solid cap closes the head from above. The plain frame combines a traditional lantern outline with restrained modern lines. The manufacturer specifies this model for gardens, terraces and other outdoor architectural settings.IP44 describes protection against splashing water for the intended outdoor installation. The construction includes a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland, and the connection requires a 230 V supply. Installation and electrical connection should be carried out by a suitably qualified person following the manufacturer’s instructions.Show more
