Name: NORLYS Astrid 2203CS Corten steel colour LED bollard 10.6 W 2700 K DALI2 55 cm
Brand: NORLYS

NORLYS Astrid 2203CS is a 55 cm garden bollard with a square 14 × 14 cm cross-section, finished in a Corten steel colour. The aluminium profile is closely ribbed with vertical slats, and an opal PMMA diffuser sits behind them in the upper part. After dark the light passes through the gaps between the ribs, so the bollard glows in strips rather than as a single bright spot. How much light it gives and how it is controlledThe luminaire has an integrated LED module at 2700 K — warm, slightly yellowish light. The whole fitting draws 10.6 W and emits 200 lm: orientation-level light that marks a path, the edge of a driveway or an entrance, but will not light up an entire garden. The module itself produces 1462 lm, much of which is screened by the slats and the diffuser, hence the gap between the two figures. Colour rendering is Ra 80.The light source is included and is not user-replaceable — the LED module and driver can only be replaced by a service technician. Version 2203CS is controlled via DALI2: dimming and programming require an installation with a DALI bus and a DALI controller.Where it can stand and how it is mountedIP65 means the housing is dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the bollard can stand outdoors without any cover. IK10 is the highest impact-resistance rating on the IK scale, which matters wherever the housing may get knocked, for example along a driveway or pavement. The manufacturer specifies an operating temperature range of −20 to +45°C.The base has three Ø9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a Ø65 mm circle. A concreting anchor, ground anchor, concrete-foundation adapter or mounting adapter is chosen to suit the ground and bought separately. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next luminaire in line. The fitting is protection class I, so it needs an earth conductor, and the connection should be made by a qualified electrician. What setting it suitsThe plain square body with its rhythm of vertical ribs is a modern form in a restrained Scandinavian spirit: no ornament, one colour over the whole surface. The Corten shade is a powder-coat colour on aluminium (close to RAL 8011, according to the manufacturer), not actual weathering steel. Astrid suits gardens and terraces and can line a street or driveway.Show more
