LED profile LUMINES type W silver anodized 1 m

Name: LED profile LUMINES type W silver anodized 1 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES W 10-0704-10 is a 1 m aluminium LED-strip profile with a silver anodised finish. It is designed to recess into lightweight ceiling or wall constructions. The side flanges overlap the edge of the prepared opening, making the installation different from a surface-mounted profile.Plan around the complete cross-sectionThe overall width is 22 mm, the height is 18 mm and the lower body is 17 mm wide. Compare the complete section drawing with the proposed installation space before preparing the construction. The width across the outer flanges is not the same as the width of the recessed body, so a single measurement does not describe the whole fit. The 1000 mm length identifies this one-metre section rather than the longer versions in the W family. The manufacturer specifies mounting springs for installation in lightweight constructions. Its drawing shows the springs behind the ceiling plane and the profile fitted with a BASIC diffuser. Allow for the fastening arrangement as well as the part that remains visible once the installation is finished.Select the strip and matching W componentsThe channel accommodates an LED strip up to 12 mm wide. Compatible covers belong to the BASIC range; the system documentation also lists end caps with a hole, connectors and mounting springs. Choose components by their compatibility with W and the selected diffuser, not simply by a similar accessory colour or appearance. The power supply sits outside the profile, so its location and cable routing need to be considered in the installation plan. Light colour and output depend on the selected LED strip. The diffuser determines how the strip is covered; the silver profile does not establish those lighting specifications.A recessed architectural accentW is intended for continuous light lines and decorative architectural accents. Its straight section and narrow border suit modern, minimalist built-in arrangements. It can form part of a suitable lightweight ceiling or wall construction in a living room, kitchen or hallway. Treat it as a component of a planned lighting system, not as a complete lamp ready for connection.Show more
