LED profile LUMINES type Logi silver anodized 1 m

Name: LED profile LUMINES type Logi silver anodized 1 m
Brand: Lumines

LOGI is a surface-mounted aluminium profile for LED strip, designed to run along a wall. Its triangular cross-section throws the light across the wall surface, and the manufacturer rates it as having a reduced UGR glare index. This listing is the 1 m length in anodised silver, manufacturer catalogue number 10-0504-10. Cross-section and the strip it takes The profile measures 40.6 mm across and 63.8 mm high, with a 28.1 mm face closed by the cover. It mounts on top of the wall and stays fully visible, so compare those two figures with the space left below the ceiling or above a run of units. The strip channel is 9.9 mm wide. That is the figure a strip has to fit, measured including its adhesive backing, because the adhesive goes into the groove as well. How much LED power it carries For LOGI the manufacturer gives a maximum dissipated LED power of 49 W at a profile temperature of 55°C and 63 W at 65°C. That figure, not the length of the run, limits the choice of strip: the aluminium is what takes heat away from the diodes, and above that load the working temperature climbs. Mounting and joining lengths The profile fixes to the wall through the dedicated SPARO mounting profile, catalogue number 10-0544-10 in the 1 m version: the mounting profile is screwed to the substrate and LOGI clips into it. The manufacturer also allows a plaster-in installation, in which the edge of the profile disappears under the skim coat. The driver sits outside the profile, so it needs a place of its own planned in advance. Lengths can be joined into one run with the 14-3032-02 straight connector. Besides 1 m, LOGI comes in 2.02 m and 3 m, and lengths up to 6 m are made to order. What you still need to buy You are buying the bare profile. The LED strip, the cover, the end caps and the mounting profile are separate items from the same system. DOUBLE covers run from transparent through frosted and milky to black: the less transparent the cover, the softer the line of light and the less of the strip's output leaves the profile. End caps are aluminium, left and right sold separately, with or without a cable hole, in white, black and silver. Unsealed, the profile is rated IP20 and is intended for indoor use only.Show more
