Italux Reda Black Matt 4-Light E27 Pendant Lamp PND-4793-4-L

Name: Italux Reda Black Matt 4-Light E27 Pendant Lamp PND-4793-4-L
Brand: Italux

Italux Reda PND-4793-4-L combines a horizontal wooden beam with four black wire-cage shades. Matt steel components and visible cables wrapped around the beam give the pendant its industrial construction. The shades hang at different levels, with the bulbs remaining visible rather than enclosed behind a continuous shade.A linear pendant for a table or islandThe fitting measures 80 cm in length and 14 cm in width, with a total height of 75 cm. Compare these dimensions with your tabletop and the distance from the ceiling to the table before choosing its position. The narrow beam arranges four light points along one line instead of gathering them beneath a single central shade. This layout can work above a dining table, kitchen island or living-room table. Restaurant tables and hotel dining areas offer similar placement possibilities for the linear form. In a bedroom or hallway, take particular account of the lowest hanging shade and the space needed beneath it. The manufacturer specifies a total height, not an adjustment range; cables wrapped around the beam are not evidence of adjustable suspension.Choose four E27 bulbs separatelyReda has four E27 sockets for traditional or LED bulbs, with a maximum rating of 40 W per light point. Bulbs are not included. Those shown in the photographs illustrate the appearance of the fitting and should not be taken as part of the supplied package. The open cages make bulb shape and finish part of the design, so consider these alongside light output when choosing your sources. Brightness and light colour depend on the bulbs: four sockets alone do not establish how brightly a particular room will be lit. Dimming is possible with suitable bulbs, which must also be compatible with the intended control.Wood, black metal and exposed light sourcesThe beam, wrapped cables and cage shades suit industrial, loft, retro and vintage interiors. Unlike a solid shade, the wire framework does not place a continuous surface between the viewer and the bulb. Over a table, this matters when the exposed sources fall within the sightline of people sitting beneath the pendant.Show more
