Elstead Hounslow pendant light FE-HOUNSLOW-P-BB, burnished brass, clear glass, 1×E27

Name: Elstead Hounslow pendant light FE-HOUNSLOW-P-BB, burnished brass, clear glass, 1×E27
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Hounslow FE-HOUNSLOW-P-BB from Elstead Lighting is a single-light pendant with an elongated clear-glass shade. Its steel parts have a Burnished Brass finish: this describes their surface, rather than a fitting made entirely from solid brass. A chain suspension, visible lampholder and open-bottomed shade keep the chosen bulb in view as part of the composition.Distinguish body height from overall dropThe fitting is 16.5 cm in diameter and its body is 34 cm high. Its overall installed drop ranges from 48.3 to 200.7 cm, so the body measurement is not the distance from the ceiling to the bottom edge. The manufacturer specifies 152.4 cm of chain. Compare the available drop with your ceiling height and the position of the surface below before choosing its location. This narrow pendant can be considered over a smaller table, or several separately installed fittings can form a row above a kitchen island. Each is a single light point, not a multiple-pendant fitting on one shared bar. It can also serve as a supplementary accent in a living room. The selected bulb and other lighting need to be considered before treating one pendant as sufficient illumination for an entire room.Choose the bulb as well as the fittingOne separately purchased E27 bulb is required, with a maximum wattage of 60 W. No bulb is included and there is no integrated LED module. Clear glass leaves the bulb's shape and finish visible whether it is on or off. Brightness and light colour therefore depend on your bulb selection, not on the brass-coloured metalwork. The manufacturer confirms compatibility with dimmable lamps. If brightness adjustment is required, select a dimmable bulb and a dimmer compatible with that bulb.A chain-hung vintage accentThe exposed holder, simple glass shade and chain links support industrial, loft and vintage styling. The brass tone can be repeated in other metal details without confusing this finish with the steel or nickel versions in the Hounslow family. This is an interior fitting in electrical Class I, which requires a protective earth connection.Show more
