GES2435C is a slim garden post light: a dark brown aluminium tube 20 mm across, closed at the top by an opal methacrylate diffuser and ending at the bottom in a spike driven into the ground. The LED module and the driver sit inside the post. How tall it is and how it is set Above ground the post measures 80 cm, and the spike adds another 17.5 cm — the whole piece is 97.5 cm, of which the bottom 17.5 cm disappears into the soil. The collar above the point is 45 mm across and rests on the ground, setting how deep it goes. Spike fixing means the post is pushed into earth, bark or gravel — on a terrace or on paving there is nothing to set it into. It weighs 0.28 kg, 0.39 kg packed, so the 2 cm shaft is light and the diffuser should not be struck when driving it in.
