Zambelis S010 is a square recessed downlight in white aluminium. The trim you see after installation measures 8.8 × 8.8 cm, with a round GU10 lampholder set inside it. The body is 7.8 cm tall and disappears entirely above the ceiling once fitted. The hole to cut and the space above the ceiling The maker specifies a cutting hole of 7.5 × 7.5 cm — the size you cut into the suspended-ceiling board. Separately it states the depth required: 13.5 cm. Compare that second figure with the void your own ceiling leaves: it is clearly more than the fitting's own height, because it allows for the wiring and the bulb as well. There is no factory lead on this fitting — the data sheet lists no cable, so the connection is made in the wiring above the ceiling. You choose the bulb A GU10 lampholder is fitted, but no bulb is included. The maximum is 50 W at 220–240 V, so colour, brightness and beam angle are all chosen with the lamp. For the same fitting the maker also offers its own COIN 50 G3 LED module as an alternative, again bought separately. That matters if you plan to dim: an ordinary GU10 bulb dims only when it is itself dimmable, and dimming the COIN module needs a separately chosen driver in the On-Off, DALI or Phase Cut version. The fitting carries no control electronics of its own. Build The housing is aluminium painted white, in the same shade as the trim. The maker declares protection class II, meaning double insulation and a connection without an earth conductor.
