Luces Exclusivas CUCUTA LE73696 Garden Bollard LED 11W 1117lm 3000K Black IP65, 82 cm, Ground Spike Included
A glowing wand 1.6 cm across CUCUTA is so slender that by day it all but disappears into the planting: a black rod just 1.6 cm across and 82 cm tall, lit along almost its entire length. There is no shade, no hat, no housing — the stem itself is the light source. After dark you see a vertical line of light rather than a fitting, which gives an effect quite unlike a classic bollard with a head. 1117 lumens spread over the whole height The built-in 11 W LED module delivers 1117 lumens at 3000 K — a lot for so slight a form. Because the light emerges along the whole stem rather than from a single point at the top, it makes no hard pool on the ground: it lifts the surroundings softly and evenly, as though the planting itself were glowing. To mark a path a row every few metres is enough; beside a border or ornamental grass a single one works as an accent. Two ways to mount it, both supplied This is the practical strength of the fitting: the manufacturer includes a ground spike, and the light also has a round base. In soft ground — a border, a lawn, among perennials — the spike pushes in and the light stands with no concrete and no foundation; it can also be moved when the garden is replanned. On a hard surface, a terrace or a gravel strip, you use the base instead. IP65 — fully rain- and wash-proof IP65 means dust-tight and resistant to water jets from any direction. In practice: the fitting takes heavy rain, a sprinkler and a hose over the terrace, and when it is set in the ground it does not matter that rain runs down the stem. The body is black-painted aluminium — it does not rust and carries the module's heat away well. Integrated source The LED module is permanently built in and included — no lamp to buy and none to change. Supply 230 V, one light point, and the fitting is not dimmable. It weighs about 1 kg, so when using the spike it is worth driving it deep and upright — a slim silhouette is striking, but a crooked one shows immediately. The taller version The same CUCUTA is also made as LE73697 at 98 cm (LED 11 W, 1113 lm, 3000 K). Two heights along one path, or grouped in a border, give a rhythm that a single repeated size cannot.
