WYNWOOD Medium Picture Light - 2 Lights - Vintage Brass QUINTIESSE

Name: WYNWOOD Medium Picture Light - 2 Lights - Vintage Brass QUINTIESSE
Brand: Quintiesse

The Wynwood is a picture light: a horizontal steel cylinder 50.8 cm long with a long slot along its underside through which the light leaves downwards. Two slim curved rods rising from a round wall plate hold the cylinder. The finish is vintage brass — matt, unevenly rubbed, in a warm gold tone. How wide it is and how far it stands off the wall The body measures 50.8 cm across — a figure to compare with the width of the picture it will hang above. A fitting noticeably narrower than the canvas lights its middle more strongly than its edges. The whole assembly is 23.2 cm tall. It projects 19.8 cm from the wall. On a picture light that reach is deliberate: the cylinder has to sit in front of the plane of the picture so the light covers the whole canvas rather than just its top edge. That much clear space in front of the wall has to be allowed for. Lamps and dimming The fitting takes two E27 lamps, each up to 60 W. They are not supplied and there is no integrated LED, so the buyer chooses colour and brightness. Above a picture the lamp's colour rendering index is what counts — it decides whether the colours on the canvas read truly. The manufacturer states that the fitting works with dimmable lamps. It has no dimming circuit of its own, so control needs both lamps marked as dimmable and a dimmer in the installation. Connection and mounting This is a fitting wired permanently into a 220–240 V installation rather than plugged in — the supply has to be brought to the point on the wall. It is protection class I, so its metal body requires an earth conductor. The manufacturer intends it for interiors only. The fitting weighs 1.98 kg, and 3.12 kg in its 57 × 28 × 29.5 cm box. The mounting height cannot be changed once it is fixed, so the position relative to the picture has to be settled before drilling. The manufacturer gives a two-year guarantee.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
