LAHTI M is a wall lamp in the shape of a narrow, flat bar 70 cm long, in a matt black finish. The LED module runs the whole length of the bar, and the manufacturer describes its light as diffused. The canopy is black and the cable transparent. How large it is and how it is mounted The bar is 70 cm long and 6,5 cm wide, and it stands 4 cm out from the wall — a figure to compare with the space left beside a mirror, at a door frame or behind an open wardrobe door. The whole fitting weighs 0,721 kg. The manufacturer provides for vertical, horizontal and diagonal mounting, so the same piece can go along a wall, above a counter or at an angle, and several can be set into one arrangement. The fitting is protection class I: an earth conductor has to reach the box, which in an older installation without earthing is worth checking before buying. How much light it gives and of what kind The module draws 13 W and gives 1725 lm at 3000 K. That is more than twice an old 60 W bulb, although the manufacturer intends the lamp as supplementary rather than main lighting. 3000 K is warm white — warmer than daylight, but without the yellow cast typical of 2700 K. The colour rendering index is Ra 90. Under this light the colours of fabric, wood and leather come close to how they look by day, which matters at a mirror and at a wardrobe. The source is built in permanently and included: you buy no bulb for it, but you cannot change it either. Build and versions The body is metal, finished in black, and the supply is 230 V at 50 Hz. The lamp is made in Poland and the manufacturer covers it with a five-year warranty. LAHTI comes in three sizes and three colours — white, gold and black — and each of them also in a 4000 K version.
