The AMULET MOD555WL-L4G3K wall light is a round disc of cast, ribbed clear glass 35 cm across, set on a gold-finished metal mounting plate. A gold cap 7 cm in diameter sits at the centre of the glass, and the ribbing radiates out from it. The fitting stands 15.5 cm out from the wall. How much wall it takes up The disc measures 35 cm in every direction, so the light occupies a square of wall with that side — a figure worth comparing with the clear space between a mirror, a cabinet or a door frame and the spot you have in mind. The 15.5 cm projection matters in a hallway or a passage: the fitting reaches far enough out to be worth mounting clear of where people walk. The mounting plate is 12 cm across and covers a standard 6 cm flush box. The complete fitting weighs 2.1 kg. How much light it gives The light source is a built-in LED module drawing 8 W and producing 360 lm. That is accent brightness rather than room lighting — an old 60 W bulb corresponds to roughly 800 lm — so AMULET adds light to one place on the wall instead of lighting the whole room. The 3000 K colour is warm white, and the Ra 80 colour rendering index is normal for decorative light. The LED module is fixed in place and cannot be swapped like a bulb; the manufacturer states 50 000 hours of service life. The fitting is not dimmable, so the output cannot be set with a dimmer. The manufacturer declares energy efficiency class G — 8 W for 360 lm follows from the thick cast glass, which holds back part of the light. Materials and wiring The glass is cast, clear and covered with a repeating ribbed relief, so once lit it draws a distinct striped pattern on the wall; the metal parts have a polished gold finish. Gold with sculpted colourless glass gives a modern shape with a strong glamour streak, suited to a living room, a bedroom or a hallway rather than to working spaces. The fitting is protection class I, which means the earth conductor in the box has to be connected. It runs on 230 V and is intended for dry interiors only.
