Norlys London 490BD Outdoor Wall Lantern, Black with Gold Patina, E27, IP54

Name: Norlys London 490BD Outdoor Wall Lantern, Black with Gold Patina, E27, IP54
Brand: NORLYS

The London 490BD is a Norlys outdoor wall light in the form of a classic four-sided lantern standing on a curved arm. The lantern has clear panes, a four-sided roof topped with a knob and a decorative wall plate. The cast aluminium body is black, rubbed with a gold patina (code BD). Dimensions and mounting According to the manufacturer's drawing the fitting is 67 cm high and 30.5 cm wide, and the arm holds the lantern 46 cm from the wall; the wall plate is 23 cm high. It is a large wall light — at an entrance, compare its height with the door and its projection with the space for an opening door leaf or shutter next to it. It weighs 2.95 kg and is fixed with four screws through ø5 mm holes at 25 × 140 mm spacing. The manufacturer also allows mounting on the corner of a building. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the EPDM gland seals a round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The fitting is protection class II, so it does not need an earth conductor. Which bulb and what light The lantern has a single E27 lampholder for an LED bulb of up to 11 W in a classic A55–A60 shape. No light source is included, and the user replaces it. Among its recommended light sources the manufacturer lists E27 LED bulbs matching the brightness of old 75–100 W bulbs. The light is exposed: it leaves through the clear panes in every direction, and the bulb itself stays visible, so its shape matters for how the lantern looks. Build and where it fits The body is powder-coated, and the panes are UV-stabilised polycarbonate, not glass. IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, so the light can hang on an exposed facade, and IK07 protects the diffuser against accidental knocks. The diffuser is available as a spare part with code 0904800051. A classic lantern of this kind suits a house facade, an entrance or the garden side of a building.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
