Norlys Asker Big 5099GA hot-dip galvanised outdoor wall light LED 5.2 W 4000 K downlight

Name: Norlys Asker Big 5099GA hot-dip galvanised outdoor wall light LED 5.2 W 4000 K downlight
Brand: NORLYS

Asker Big 5099GA is a box-shaped outdoor wall light 30 cm wide, 12 cm high and 12 cm deep. The front is hot-dip galvanised steel, with the naturally uneven, mottled surface that galvanising leaves, and the body is powder-coated cast aluminium. Light leaves through the underside, via a clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser. The plain body without ornament gives it a minimalist form. How it lightsThe fitting gives diffused, hemispherical light aimed downwards — it brightens the wall and ground below rather than throwing a narrow beam. The manufacturer intends it for lighting walls and façades. The LED module shines at 4000 K, a neutral white under which façade colours look natural, without a yellow cast. The module itself delivers 683 lm at 3.9 W source power; the whole fitting draws 5.2 W. CRI 80 is enough for an entrance or a wall, and SDCM3 keeps the tint consistent across several fittings. The light can be dimmed with a trailing-edge (TE) phase dimmer.InstallationThere are two ways to fix it: through an intermediate plate with two 5 × 10 mm adjustment slots 45 mm apart, or directly through two ø5 mm holes 68 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², or up to 3 × 1.5 mm² when looped; the round cable should be 7–10.5 mm in diameter. It is protection class I, so it needs a protective earth. For a longer run on a façade the manufacturer's table helps: one B 10 A breaker carries 157 fittings, B 16 A 250, C 10 A 260 and C 16 A 425. The light weighs 2.6 kg, and IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction.ServiceThe LED module and driver are built in but not disposable: a suitably qualified person replaces them, and the manufacturer lists them as spare parts — LED module 46999608, driver 46999746 and gasket 08120006.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
