Salad Fork Natural Teak Root Collection 26 cm

Name: Salad Fork Natural Teak Root Collection 26 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

The salad fork from the Teak Root Collection is a one-piece serving tool cut from solid teak wood. The head is broad and hollowed like a spoon, with three short tines cut into its leading edge. A hole at the end of the handle carries a threaded jute cord. How big it is and how it serves The piece measures 26 cm long, 9 cm wide and 2 cm thick. Compare the length with the height of the bowl you usually serve salad from — that decides whether you reach into the bowl with your hand while lifting a portion. The broad hollowed head scoops leaves the way a spoon does, and the three tines along its edge hold them while you transfer a portion, so one tool covers both lifting and serving. The fork is sold singly — in the maker's styling photographs it stands beside a second piece of cutlery, which is a separate article. The jute cord threaded through the handle lets you hang the fork on a hook or a rail instead of storing it in a drawer. Teak wood and care The material is solid teak in its natural colour: a warm honey tone with pronounced grain and darker streaks. The manufacturer states that the piece is not dishwasher proof — it is washed by hand and wiped dry straight away. Every piece is carved individually in Indonesia, so the grain pattern and the shade differ from one item to the next. The fork that arrives will therefore not be an exact copy of the photograph. What to pair it with at the table The fork belongs to the Teak Root Collection, in which the maker also offers bowls, spoons and boards in the same wood, so several pieces can be put together with one material and one finish. Unlike a metal serving piece, the wooden head leaves no scratches on a glazed bowl or a coated pan.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
