s.luce Made Ring XL LED pendant light Ø 80 cm, gold metal leaf, 4000 K, dimmable

Name: s.luce Made Ring XL LED pendant light Ø 80 cm, gold metal leaf, 4000 K, dimmable
Brand: s.luce

The s.luce Made Ring XL is a pendant light made as a single ring 80 cm across. The aluminium ring is 8 cm high and 1 cm thick, and in this version it is covered in gold-coloured metal leaf – thin sheets of metal that imitate gilding. The maker builds each light to order in Germany. How it hangs and where to put it The ring hangs on steel cables fixed to the ceiling canopy. The maker describes this suspension as eccentric, meaning off-centre – a centred suspension is offered at extra cost. The cables are up to 5 m long and can be shortened, so the light also suits stairwells, entrance halls and rooms open through two storeys. Compare the 80 cm diameter with the width of the hall or the table the ring will hang over. It is the smallest size in the series – larger versions go up to 230 cm. How much light, and what kind The light source is a built-in LED strip included in the box – there are no bulbs to buy. The light draws 35 W and delivers 3514 lm, roughly as much as four old 60 W bulbs, at 4000 K: a neutral white the maker recommends for functional spaces such as offices. A colour rendering index above Ra 90 means colours look natural under this light. The maker rates the LEDs at 25,000 hours, and the energy efficiency class is F. The light is dimmable, but it needs a phase-cut dimmer – leading-edge or trailing-edge. It runs on 230 V, and its IP20 rating limits it to dry interiors. Which rooms it suits The maker aims the series at representative spaces – entrance halls, galleries and stairwells – and at offices; it also works in a living room. The style is modern and minimalist: one smooth ring with no shades or ornament, whose character comes from the gold sheen of the metal leaf. The s.luce Made Ring series covers diameters from 80 to 230 cm, finishes in aluminium, black, white, gold, gold leaf and a custom RAL lacquer, as well as 3000 K versions.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
