Name: Norlys Nidaros 2126BL outdoor ceiling light, black RAL 9005, LED 10.6 W 2700 K, dimmable, Ø12 cm
Brand: NORLYS

Nidaros 2126BL is an outdoor ceiling light shaped as a low cylinder, 12 cm in diameter and 9 cm high. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated black (RAL 9005), closed at the bottom by a clear safety-glass lens with a silver reflector behind it. It is the lowest of the three heights in the Nidaros series — the others are 18 and 23 cm. What light it gives The fixture has an integrated LED module with a colour temperature of 2700 K, a warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional incandescent bulb. It shines only downwards in a 24° beam and sends no light upwards, so it creates a defined pool of light below the fixture. The luminaire delivers 584 lm, less than an old 60 W bulb (around 800 lm), at a power draw of 10.6 W. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 keeps the colours of a facade, wood or plants within the beam looking natural. Colour consistency of SDCM3 means that several fixtures mounted side by side shine in practically the same shade. The light can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, either trailing edge or leading edge. Mounting and connection The manufacturer designed the fixture for horizontal surfaces and it is fixed at two points. The terminals take wires up to 3 × 2.5 mm², or up to 1.5 mm² when several fixtures are looped together; the cable should have a round sheath 7–10.5 mm in diameter, which is the range the cable seal is made for. As a class I luminaire it must be connected to a protective earth conductor, and the instructions specify installation by a licensed electrician. It weighs 0.9 kg. Durability and weather resistance IP65 means the fixture is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets, so it can work outdoors even without shelter from rain. The gasket is silicone; impact resistance is rated IK06. The fixture operates at ambient temperatures from −20 to +45 °C. The LEDs are not user-replaceable — the LED module may only be replaced by a professional service. The manufacturer states an L70 lifetime of over 59,000 hours: at three hours a day that is more than 50 years before the output drops to 70% of its initial value. Where it fits The plain, smooth body without ornament and the matt black finish suit modern, minimalist architecture. The ceiling light is intended for outdoor use: on a covered terrace, in a gazebo and for lighting a facade from a horizontal surface above it.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
