Outdoor Step Light E230 2W LED 3000K IP65 Graphite ZAMBELIS

Name: Outdoor Step Light E230 2W LED 3000K IP65 Graphite ZAMBELIS
Brand: Zambelis

The ZAMBELIS E230 is an outdoor step light with a square graphite body measuring 12.5 × 12.5 cm. Light leaves through a single horizontal slot aimed downwards rather than across the whole face of the fitting. The housing is moulded from ABS with a matt, lightly textured finish. How far it projects and what the installation needs The fitting stands 2.5 cm clear of the wall. On a flight of stairs or in a narrow passage that is shallow enough to stay out of the way of a foot or a trouser leg. The 12.5 cm square face covers roughly the area of a standard flush-mounting box with its frame — a measurement worth holding against the width of the wall it is going on. The manufacturer's data sheet lists both the cutting hole and the required depth as "None": the E230 needs no chase cut and no recessed box. It fixes to a finished wall, so it can be added to a façade after the building work is over. No connecting cable is supplied. The driver sits inside the fitting, so it wires straight to the 230 V mains without a separate transformer, and the declared safety class I means a protective earth conductor has to reach the terminal. How much light the E230 gives Output is 69 lm for a 2 W draw. That is orientation lighting: the fitting marks the edge of a step and brightens the band of wall beneath it, but it will not light a whole staircase or terrace — by comparison, the old 60 W incandescent bulb gave around 800 lm. The 3000 K colour temperature is warm, with a slightly yellow cast. The LED is built in and cannot be replaced, so the life of the fitting is the life of the light source: the manufacturer declares L70B50 30,000 h, which at three hours a day works out at roughly 27 years. The fitting is not dimmable. Where it can be mounted IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the fitting can sit on an unsheltered wall and take rain directly. The manufacturer permits operation from −25 to 50 °C and marks the E230 SeaSide, a designation intended for coastal sites where there is salt in the air. The ABS body does not corrode, and the graphite shade stays legible against both pale and dark render.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
