Name: NORLYS ASKER BIG 5018GR outdoor wall light, graphite RAL 7016, LED 8.5 W 4000 K
Brand: NORLYS

NORLYS ASKER BIG 5018GR is a graphite outdoor wall light that directs light both upwards and downwards. Its rectangular cast-aluminium body is powder-coated in RAL 7016. Narrow diffuser panels and an undecorated outline give the fitting a minimalist appearance suited to lighting walls and façades. Two directions of light from one fittingThe two built-in LED modules produce neutral white light at 4000 K, rather than the warmer appearance associated with 3000 K. Their two-way distribution illuminates the wall above and below the body. When planning several fittings, consider the façade divisions and window positions as well as the electrical rating: the arrangement of the lights determines which vertical surfaces they emphasise. The complete fitting consumes 8.5 W and delivers 550 lm. The separately stated 1188 lm is the light-source output, not the amount of light leaving the assembled luminaire. Use the 550 lm figure when comparing its brightness with other wall lights. Dimming is by TRAILING EDGE (TE) phase control, so a planned dimmer must support that control method.Check the available wall spaceThe body measures 30.2 cm wide and 12.5 cm high, with a projection of 12.1 cm. Compare these dimensions with the available surface and the opening path of doors or shutters before installation. Its horizontal geometry suits modern and modernist façades. Suitable locations include walls beside a terrace, balcony or entrance, and an appropriate mounting surface on a masonry boundary wall. Its distribution is principally intended to illuminate vertical surfaces.Connection and future servicingThe IP65 rating supports outdoor use. The transparent, textured diffusers are made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate; the construction also includes a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable entry. The 220–240 V supply and Class I electrical protection require a qualified installer to make the correct connection, including the protective earth. The light sources are already part of the fitting, so this model does not require ordinary replacement bulbs to be selected. The LED modules and control gear are replaceable by a professional service. The installation instructions require the cable entry to remain sealed: correct connection work is necessary to maintain the stated ingress protection.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
