LUMINES TALIA M2 mounting profile, white lacquered, 2.02 m, for the LED driver, 64.5 × 36.7 mm

Name: LUMINES TALIA M2 mounting profile, white lacquered, 2.02 m, for the LED driver, 64.5 × 36.7 mm
Brand: Lumines

The TALIA M2 is a white lacquered aluminium mounting profile with a 64.5 × 36.7 mm cross-section, 2.02 m long. It is neither a luminaire nor a profile that a strip lights up inside: it is the channel that hides the driver of a surface-mounted TALIA system, while the LED profile itself clips onto its edges. What is needed besides the profileWhat ships is the length of profile alone. The driver, the LED strip, the TALIA profile, the cover, the end caps and the connectors are all bought separately — without them the TALIA M2 is not a working light. The maker offers the end caps in two versions, with a cable hole and without. That choice belongs with the profile, because it decides where the supply cable comes out.How much space it takes and how it is fittedA 64.5 × 36.7 mm section means the profile stands the light line just under 6.5 cm off the ceiling or wall and takes up a little under 4 cm of width. Those are the figures to compare with the space actually available above the planned line. The maker allows both surface and suspended mounting.Lengths of TALIA M2 can be joined, so a run longer than 2.02 m is made from several profiles set end to end. The profile is not rated to be walked or driven over, so it does not belong in a floor or anywhere underfoot.Where it may be usedNo sealing is provided for this profile: its rating is IP20, dry interiors only. It is not suitable for the splash zone of a bathroom, for a terrace, or for a damp garage. The channel is an aluminium extrusion, and aluminium carries heat away from the driver shut inside it — the material is doing more here than the finish. The white lacquer covers the whole visible surface of the profile.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
