LUMINES SORGA recessed LED profile for plasterboard, black lacquered, 2 m

Name: LUMINES SORGA recessed LED profile for plasterboard, black lacquered, 2 m
Brand: Lumines

SORGA is a wide recessed aluminium profile for plasterboard, here in the black lacquered finish. The body is 87,6 mm wide and 43,7 mm high, and with the side flanges meant to be plastered over the span comes to 117,6 mm. The piece is 2,02 m long — the 20 mm over the nominal 2 m is cutting allowance. How much strip fits inside The internal channel is 84,8 mm wide and 29,5 mm deep, which takes up to six LED strips side by side. That is why the manufacturer puts this profile in the role of main lighting rather than accent lighting — six strips deliver a multiple of what one line in a narrow profile can. The load has a ceiling: the product sheet gives the maximum dissipated power of the LED sources as 67,2 W at a profile temperature of 55°C and 105,0 W at 65°C. Add up the wattage of the strips you intend to fit and hold that figure against these two before buying. How it goes into the ceiling The profile sits in the plasterboard in one of two ways: on mounting springs, or permanently, with the flanges filled over for a trimless finish. In the areas meant to be filled the profile is deliberately left unlacquered — bare aluminium holds the filler better than a painted surface does. Pieces can be joined into continuous light lines. The manufacturer lists separate connectors for that: straight, 90° corner, 90° transverse corner, 120° corner, 135° corner and a triple 3 × 120°. The profile is not drive-over rated, so it is not for building into a floor. What has to be bought with it The profile is sold bare: no LED strip, no cover, no end caps. The slide-in SUPER WIDE cover comes in transparent, milky, frosted milky and black PMMA and in Fractal polycarbonate, and the aluminium end caps with a cable opening come in white, black and silver. The driver goes outside the profile, so it needs a place of its own in the ceiling build-up. With no cover and no sealing the profile is rated IP20. Besides 1 m, 2,02 m and 3 m, the manufacturer makes lengths up to 6 m to order.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
