Molde 1970GR is an 80 cm bollard light: a straight, square-section body of cast aluminium with the top bent forward. The light source sits under that bend, so from eye level you see the lit surface rather than the diode. The finish is powder-coated graphite RAL 7016.Dimensions, mounting and what to buy with itThe bollard is 80 cm high, 11 cm wide and 16.5 cm deep including the projecting head. It is fixed with four screws through ø7 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm.No base is included: the manufacturer lists separate accessories for that — a concreting anchor, index 1907, a ground anchor, 1908, or a mounting adapter — and they are ordered separately. The fitting is protection class I, so the circuit it goes on has to carry an earth conductor.How it lights and when it switches onThe built-in LED module draws 8.2 W and 386 lm leave the fitting at 3000 K, which is warm white. That is enough light to mark a path and the stretch of paving next to it, not to light a whole garden — along a longer path several are set in a row. Colour rendering of Ra 80 is the standard for outdoor fittings.The bollard carries a PIR motion sensor with a dusk switch and a hold-on time: by day it does not react, after dark it switches on for the duration of the movement and off again by itself. The LED module cannot be replaced; the manufacturer rates its life at 55,000 hours.Wiring and linking several bollardsThe terminals take conductors up to 4 × 4 mm², and the supply for the next fitting can be looped through this one at up to 4 × 2.5 mm². A row along a path therefore runs off a single circuit instead of a separate cable to each unit. The gland accepts round cable of 4–8, 8–12 or 10–13.6 mm diameter.Build and resistanceThe body is powder-coated cast aluminium and the diffuser structured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. IP54 allows the bollard to stand in the open with no cover over it, and IK07 describes the impact resistance of the housing.
