LUMINES J recessed LED profile, silver anodised, 2.02 m

Name: LUMINES J recessed LED profile, silver anodised, 2.02 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES J is a silver-anodised aluminium profile for installing an LED strip along the edge of furniture or a built-in structure. Its distinguishing feature is a flange on one side, allowing the other side to meet a perpendicular surface rather than leaving matching lips on both sides. This version is 2020 mm long and carries manufacturer reference 10-0001-04.A recessed channel at the furniture edgeThe profile fits into a routed groove in a shelf, panel or worktop. It suits layouts in which the lighting channel should form part of the furniture rather than sit on its surface as a separate rail. The manufacturer's installation diagrams also show use above a kitchen worktop and at stair treads. Groove position and cable routing therefore belong in the planning stage, before the furniture part is machined. The cross-section measures 19.5 mm across overall and 18 mm high, with a 17 mm body width at the base. Compare the available space with the technical drawing before routing: the asymmetric flange determines how the channel meets the adjacent surface. The actual 2.02 m length should also be allowed for when setting out the ends, rather than treating this as an exactly two-metre section.Choosing components for system JThe data sheet specifies LED strips up to 12 mm wide. Compatible BASIC covers fit from above, while the matching end caps have cable openings and distinct left- and right-hand versions. Choose the required hand as well as the colour when specifying the ends. This is a structural lighting component, not a complete luminaire with a fixed brightness or colour temperature. Those properties depend on the selected strip and the rest of the installation. The manufacturer places the power supply outside the profile, so its location must be planned separately.Silver detailing without an exposed railThe plain section and narrow metal edge suit modern, minimalist furniture compositions. The silver finish remains visible beside the light line while the body sits within the groove. For shelf and cabinet lighting, match accessories by system J compatibility and dimensions rather than by a similar-looking photograph.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
