TRUKKO WL is a backlit bathroom mirror measuring 60 × 80 cm and 2.8 cm deep. The light leaves a matt frame that runs all the way around the glass, and the touch controls sit on the mirror surface itself, along the bottom edge. The body is aluminium, the front glass. How big the mirror is and how it is fixed The glass is 60 cm wide and 80 cm high — a measurement to put next to the width of the worktop or cabinet it will hang above. At 2.8 cm it stands off the wall less far than a shallow shelf. The mirror alone weighs 6.7 kg and 9.3 kg boxed, so the fixing has to carry a load similar to a full wall cabinet. An IP44 rating means protection against splashing water, which places it above a washbasin. It works in protection class II and needs no earth conductor connected. Three light colours and dimming The built-in colour switch gives three settings: 3000 K is warm, slightly yellow light, 4000 K is neutral and 6500 K distinctly cool, close to daylight. Output follows the colour at 1080, 1290 and 1250 lm respectively — every setting is brighter than an old 60 W bulb. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means skin tone and make-up colours look close to how they look in daylight, and a mirror is the one place where that shows. Brightness is set by touch, and the mirror remembers the last setting as long as at least 10 seconds passed since it was switched on. The anti-fogging function Built-in heating behind the glass keeps the mirror from misting over after a shower. It starts from the touch panel and switches itself off after roughly 30 minutes, so it needs no attention. Supply and service life The mirror connects to a 220–240 V supply and the electronics bring the voltage down to 24 V on the diode side. The light source is permanently built in; the manufacturer expects 30,000 hours from it and states a consumption of 25 kWh per 1,000 hours of use.
