ELISA is a pendant suspension for a 3-circuit track rather than a complete lamp: a white textile cable 150 cm long, finishing at the top in a white track adapter and at the bottom in a chrome metal E27 socket with a shade ring. The manufacturer lists this version under the code WA+WC+CHF. What is in the box and what has to be bought The box holds three parts and nothing else: adapter, cable and socket. Neither a bulb nor a shade is included — Rendl intends the suspension either for a decorative bulb left on show, or for a shade fitted onto the ring of the socket. Those are two different routes, and the one you choose decides what the lamp looks like. The adapter clips straight into the track and takes 230 V from it, so nothing else sits between the track and the socket. Which track it fits and how far it drops The adapter is made for 3-circuit Eurostandard (EUTRAC) tracks only. It will not fit a 1-circuit track — Rendl sells a separate ELISA version for that, so the track already on the ceiling decides which one to order. The cable is 150 cm, and the socket hangs that full length below the track. Over a table the bottom edge of a shade usually sits 70–80 cm above the top, so compare those 150 cm with the ceiling height and with the height the track itself is mounted at. The complete suspension weighs 250 g. Which bulb it takes The socket is an E27 thread, and the manufacturer quotes a maximum of 15 W for it — that is the limit for the bulb, not the consumption of the suspension. Brightness and colour therefore come with the bulb you choose; a decorative filament lamp usually sits at 2200–2700 K, warm and distinctly yellow light. Rendl states that the set can be dimmed provided a suitable light source is used, so dimming is decided by the bulb and the dimmer in the installation rather than by the suspension.
