TRINI 4334 is a pendant light with a shade shaped as a flattened dome of smoked glass, 30 cm across. The shade is see-through and open at the bottom, so the lamp shows both through the glass and below the fitting. Canopy and cable are matte black, and the lampholder sits in brass-plated steel. How low it hangs and how much room it needs The cable runs to 800 mm at most, and the whole fitting measures at most 1080 mm from the ceiling to the bottom edge of the shade. The cable is shortened at the canopy, so 108 cm is a ceiling rather than a fixed length. Over a table the shade usually hangs with its bottom edge 70–80 cm above the top. With a 75 cm table and a 2.5 m ceiling that lands almost exactly on this fitting's maximum drop — a higher ceiling needs an extension, because the cable cannot be lengthened. At 30 cm the shade is smaller than a typical dining pendant, so over a longer table several work better than one. Which lamp you need to buy The fitting has one E27 lampholder and no lamp is included. The manufacturer's mounting card gives a 15 W ceiling and allows LED lamps only — incandescent and halogen are crossed out on the pictogram. The size limit matters more: the lamp may be at most 50 mm across and 105 mm long. A standard A60 pear is 60 mm and will not fit this shade — G45 golf-balls, candles and slim decorative lamps will. Because the glass is see-through, the lamp's own shape stays visible from outside. Build and connection The shade is glass and the body steel — part of it painted matte black, part brass-plated. The fitting weighs 2 kg and hangs on a mounting bar fixed with two plugs, which the manufacturer supplies. It runs on 230 V and is Class I, so a protective earth has to reach the canopy — worth settling before buying on an older two-core installation. Variants in the TRINI collection TRINI 4334 is the middle size: the manufacturer carries the same shade at 20 cm and 40 cm as well.
