Wall light, semi-flush and pendant Niva - 1 light source - champagne bronze Elstead

Name: Wall light, semi-flush and pendant Niva - 1 light source - champagne bronze Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Niva is a Kichler fitting in a champagne bronze finish — a brushed, warm gold with a brown undertone. The metal dome of the shade measures 20.3 cm across, and a satin-etched opal glass globe projects from under its rim. The same set mounts on a wall and on a ceiling. Wall and ceiling mounting The manufacturer describes the fitting as convertible and supplies three rods with it — one of 15.2 cm and two of 30.5 cm. They set how far the shade sits from the ceiling: the range runs from 29.6 to 105.8 cm, so it can hang close under the ceiling or come down to the height of a light over a worktop. The mounting pan is 13.4 cm across and 2.5 cm high — a figure to compare with the opening left by the fitting you are replacing. On a wall the shade stands 24.1 cm off the face, because it sits on a short arm. How much light it gives The fitting takes one E27 lamp of up to 40 W; no lamp is included, so colour and brightness are yours to choose. The metal dome is opaque and holds back the light going upward — what comes out passes through the glass globe, which diffuses it softly and hides the filament. The manufacturer states the fitting works with dimmable lamps. Dimming therefore needs two things that are not in the box: a lamp described as dimmable, and a dimmer in the circuit. Size and build The whole fitting is 22.7 cm high, 20.3 cm wide and 24.1 cm deep, and it weighs 1.47 kg. Body and dome are steel, the globe is satin-etched opal glass. Niva is safety class I, so the connection needs a protective earth conductor, and the manufacturer specifies it for interior use only. The same model is also made in black.Näytä lisää
