The LAGOM 90 wall lamp is a plain aluminium bar 88.5 cm long, finished in matt beige. An opal diffuser runs the full length of its front face, and the flat rectangular mounting plate sits offset at one end. The LED is built in and supplied with the fitting. Size and wiring The bar measures 88.5 cm with a 7 × 4 cm cross-section, and the manufacturer gives the weight as 1 kg. In the maker's photographs and in the installation sheet the lamp hangs vertically. The lamp is wired permanently into the mains; there is no lead and plug. The instruction sheet runs three conductors — N, L and the protective earth — and the declared protection class I means an earth is required. Check the box in your wall for an earth conductor before ordering. How much light LAGOM 90 gives The fitting draws 12 W and delivers 1421 lm. An old 60 W incandescent managed around 800 lm, so this bar is noticeably brighter and covers the main lighting of a small room. At 4000 K the light is neutral white, without the yellow cast of a filament lamp. Colour rendering reaches Ra 98. Wall, furniture and fabric colours read almost as they do in daylight, which matters at a mirror, in a dressing room and over a worktop. The opal diffuser spreads the light along the whole bar with no visible hot spots. The LED is permanently fitted and cannot be changed — the lamp comes with its light source, and at the end of its life the whole fitting is replaced. Build and the LAGOM range The body is aluminium. The form is minimalist: the bar and its mounting plate, with no ornament and no visible screws. The maker intends it for the living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room and hallway. LAGOM is a range. The wall lamp comes in three lengths — 90, 120 and 150 cm — in six body colours and two light colours, with a ceiling version in the same finishes, so several fittings can be matched in one room.
