LUMINES LARGO M1 mounting profile black lacquered 1 m

Name: LUMINES LARGO M1 mounting profile black lacquered 1 m
Brand: Lumines

LARGO M1 is a mounting profile: an aluminium base rail screwed to the wall or ceiling before the LARGO lighting profile itself is fitted onto it. It is not a profile you lay a strip into — it is the base the LARGO profile sits on. This piece is black lacquered and 1 m long. What it is and what it is not In the LARGO system the jobs are separated: M1 holds onto the substrate, and the LARGO profile clips into its shaped groove by the "click-click" method. The manufacturer states that this split makes wall and ceiling installation easier — only the rail is screwed to the substrate, and the profile with its strip and cover goes on afterwards. LARGO M1 is one of four mounting profiles made for the LARGO profile, so before ordering it is worth checking which one the planned mounting method calls for. Dimensions and fixing The section measures 88.6 mm wide and 25.5 mm high, and this piece is 1000 mm long. The profile is fixed with mounting screws, and the manufacturer provides for surface and suspended mounting. Lengths can be joined into a single line — a separate LARGO connector system exists for that and keeps the joint between two profiles on axis. At the same time the manufacturer notes the profile is not drive-over rated: it is not for recessing into a floor that is walked or driven on. What has to be bought as well The mounting rail is one part of the build. A working fitting also needs the LARGO profile — which takes up to six LED strips — a cover, the strip itself, end caps and a driver. End caps come in two forms: for LARGO M1 alone and for LARGO M1 combined with the LARGO profile, each with or without a cable hole. The driver can be housed inside the profile or placed outside it. The manufacturer provides no sealing option for this system — the protection rating is IP20, so installation in dry interiors only. Lengths and finishes The profile is made in 1000, 2020 and 3000 mm lengths, and to order up to 6 m. Besides black lacquered there is a white lacquered and a silver anodised version.Näytä lisää
