Code 16-1066-64 is a 50 m reel of LED Labs tape: 2835 SMD LEDs, 60 per metre, supplied at 24 V DC. The producer title “300 LED” sits on the catalogue card next to “60 LED/m”, so it names the density class, not a diode count for the whole reel. The PCB is 8 mm wide and 2 oz, and the EPREL file for TR-T300-2835-CW2450 gives a 3 mm external segment height. Reel length and cut points This article is the full 50 m reel. The drawing marks a cut every 100 mm, so a run shortens by a decimetre, not between arbitrary diodes. At 4.8 W per metre the complete reel is a 240 W load. Size the 24 V DC supply for the length you actually connect. The tape has no 230 V plug. The package is the reel, the lead at the spool and the adhesive backing. A power supply and an aluminium profile are not included. Buy a profile separately if the tape should sit under a diffuser or shed heat from a long run into aluminium. The adhesive needs a clean, dry, flat surface. 6500 K and the colour-rendering limit This variant is cold white, 6500 K. The card states 540 lm per metre and 112.5 lm/W at Ra 80. EPREL lists class F for the same model and an R9 of 0, so saturated reds look flat. The register describes a 500 mm segment: 2.4 W and 270 lm in a 360° sphere. That matches the per-metre figures, not the draw of the whole reel. Cold 6500 K picks out a shelf edge and small print more sharply than warm white. Where evening light should stay soft, this reel will feel too cool. Dimming, IP20 and where it belongs EPREL allows dimming only with specified dimmers. This code’s card lists no compatible models, so a dimmer for a 230 V bulb proves nothing. IP20 rules out splashes, steam and outdoor mounting. The range from -20 °C to +45 °C is an operating-temperature limit, not permission for rain. L70/B50 life is 15000 hours, and the warranty is 24 months. Eight millimetres and a 100 mm cut suit a cabinet underside in a dry part of a kitchen, the inside of a wardrobe, and a shelf edge.
