The GFA1621 is a surface-mounted ceiling light built as a square-section sleeve with a single light opening pointing straight down. The body is aluminium, finished in black with a fine sand texture and no gloss at all. How big it is and how it is fitted The housing measures 60 × 60 mm at the base and stands 100 mm tall, so it is markedly taller than it is wide and hangs ten centimetres below the ceiling. That is the figure to compare with the room height and with whatever sits beneath it, because all the light leaves through the bottom. The side of the housing is exactly the diameter of a standard ø60 mm wiring box, so it covers one with no margin at all — the opening in the ceiling has to be centred. Fitting starts with a round plate screwed to the ceiling; the body twists onto it, and once the lamp is in, a retaining ring pushes in from below. The fitting weighs 0.32 kg net and 0.34 kg packed. What light source it takes The holder is GU10 and takes a single lamp of up to 35 W. That is the maker's ceiling for the lamp, not the fitting's own consumption — a GU10 LED reflector sits far inside it. The maker publishes neither a colour temperature nor a lumen figure, because the lamp you choose brings both. The beam width comes from the lamp too: a 24° reflector lays a defined pool on a worktop or a picture, a 60° one lights the whole area under the fitting. Build and connection The body is aluminium throughout. The black sand finish is matt and slightly rough to the touch, which sets it apart from smooth painted black. The maker specifies the fitting for indoor use only. It runs on 220–240 V 50/60 Hz straight from the mains. The fitting is class I, so a protective earth conductor is required — the maker's instruction sheet shows a three-way terminal: N, earth and L.
