Rendl Desty Pendant Light for 3-Circuit Track, Black/Chrome, GU10 max. 35 W

Name: Rendl Desty Pendant Light for 3-Circuit Track, Black/Chrome, GU10 max. 35 W
Brand: Rendl light studio

Desty for 3-circuit tracks is a pendant light with a small spherical metal shade in a chrome, mirror-like finish, hanging from a black cable. The cable ends in a black adapter that clips straight into the track — there is no ceiling canopy or ceiling fixing, so the light cannot be installed without a 3-circuit track. Dimensions and suspension The shade is 9 cm in diameter and 12 cm high, and the suspension is 80 cm long. A sphere this small does not dominate a room, which is why Desty is usually hung in several along one track — above a worktop, a counter or a table. According to the manufacturer's drawing the adapter is 9.5 cm long and 4.5 cm high, worth allowing for when you plan the spacing between lights on the track. Track adapters differ between systems, so before buying check that your track is a 3-circuit (3-phase) track compatible with this fitting's adapter. Light source The light has a GU10 socket and takes a lamp of up to 35 W — no bulb is included. The manufacturer intends it for GU10 LED lamps, so you choose the colour and brightness: 2700–3000 K gives warm light over a dining table, 4000 K a neutral light better suited to a worktop. GU10 is a directional lamp, so the light falls downwards onto the surface below the shade. Dimming is possible, but only with a dimmable lamp and a suitable dimmer. The fitting runs on 230 V supplied directly by the track. Where it works The manufacturer lists Desty for kitchen worktop, office and shop lighting. A track lets you slide the lights along and rearrange them without new electrical points, which is useful in a kitchen, dining room or living room as well as in retail premises where displays change often. A chrome sphere on a black cable is a modern, unornamented form. The Desty series also includes versions for 1-circuit tracks and with a conventional ceiling fixing.Näytä lisää
