Luces Exclusivas BALCARCE LE61511 Concrete Wall Light Grey 11.5 cm G9
The BALCARCE LE61511 is a wall light shaped as a concrete cube 11.5 cm along each edge. The casting is left raw and grey, with the texture of the concrete still visible. The body is open at the top and the bottom, so the light leaves in two beams — up the wall and down it. How big it is and how it lights The cube measures 11.5 cm in every direction, so it stands off the wall exactly as far as it is wide. That is the figure to compare with the width of the passage where you intend to fit it. It mounts on the surface of the wall and needs no recess for the housing. The light does not go sideways but runs along the wall, upwards and downwards. On a smooth surface it draws two lit triangles, as the manufacturer's room photograph shows. This is accent light that picks out the wall and marks a route, not the main lighting of a room. Which bulb to buy for it The fitting takes one G9 lamp of up to 5 W. No bulb is supplied, so you choose the colour of the light and its brightness along with it. The 5 W ceiling sets the order of magnitude: even as an LED, a lamp of that rating gives less light than an old 60 W bulb. Supply is ordinary 230 V. Whether the light can be dimmed is decided by the bulb and by the dimmer in the circuit, because the fitting carries no control electronics of its own. Concrete and where it can go The body is cast in concrete and left unlacquered: the surface stays raw, with visible pores and an uneven grey tone.
