Die mit Polymerchemie synthetisierte HP-Diol-Phase ist an eine funktionelle 1,2-Dihydroxypropylpropylether-Gruppe gebunden, die eine spezielle Wechselwirkung mit polaren Verbindungen ermöglicht. Die Polymerbindungschemie ermöglicht eine hocheffiziente und hochstabile Trennung von polaren Pharmazeutika, Peptiden und Proteinen.
